-Set in an orphanage that houses emotionally disturbed children, 'The House of Love' chronicles the trials and tribulations of the residents and counselors. Says Sherrard of the film, 'This is a film based on true events, with identities of the characters kept confidential. I chose to do a film dealing with emotionally disturbed kids living in a group home setting, because so many children are neglected and abused in this world by their parents and authoritative figures. A great number of adults need to become aware of and be more empathetic and sympathetic to their kids so that they wouldn't end up parentless and living in orphanages or group homes.'
