In 2001, he created its subsidiary, Power Pictures Productions. Kurt not only serves as the organization’s Chairman and producer, but he is also involved in many of the behind-the-scenes, creative aspects including: writing, directing and cinematography. -Kurt’s most dramatic film was "The House of Love" shot in 2003, a direct-to-video release (distributed by Tapeworm Distributors and POWER PICTURES INC. available at both major and independent retailers) that has garnered enough acclaim to be considered for a slot as a weekly television series. In fact, it was aired on MTV and was sold on MTV.COM for $9.75 on DVD for the year of 2007 and 2008. The LA Filmmaker, along with Dr. Al Woods and attorney Ralph Fucetola, is taking on health care issues with 2 ground-breaking documentaries soon to air on Telos TV's Mind Body Spirit TV. Docs feature expert lawyer dedicated to natural ways to treat illness. He is also the artistic force behind the 1999 television program The Millennium Talent Showcase, which he created, produced and directed. Kurt has worked as Assistant Director on a project called ‘"Will You Marry Me" a television special for Dick Clark Productions and other documentaries on NBC with Fleisher Productions in the early to mid 90s. Further, Kurt was the associate producer for the syndicated, urban entertainment series The Source: All Access, hosted by Treach from the platinum-selling rap group Naughty By Nature and Lisa Raye from the UPN hit sitcom "All of Us". Additionally, he served as the associate producer on the equally popular Vibe Magazine and Heritage Networks television creation, The Weekend Vibe, hosted by music producer and former Groove Theory member Bryce Wilson and his protégé DJ EQ. POWER PICTURES INC. has completed a documentary called "The Miracle Herbs” for television, and in pre-production raising money for an independent feature film about a female serial killer called "Blink".
